I want to thank the Fremantle electorate for electing me as its representative in the national parliament.  It is a great honour and privilege, especially in an election that was so close and so strongly contested.

Volunteers from Cockburn's Emergency Service and South Coogee Bush Fire Brigade met with the Minister for Infrastructure, Anthony Albanese, Melissa Parke and City of Cockburn officials during a 30 July visit to the Jandakot site of the city's planned $3.5 million combined facility for the two groups.
